POLITICON’S #SISTERSINLAW NAMED THE WEBBY PEOPLE’S VOICE AWARD WINNER FOR BEST PODCAST – NEWS & POLITICS

Legal Dream Team of Joyce Vance, Barb McQuade, Kimberly Atkins Stohr and Jill Wine-Banks Hits The Road in May to Discuss The Biggest Issues of This Election Year on the #SistersInLaw Live Tour

Politicon’s podcast #SISTERSINLAW was named the Webby People’s Voice Award Winner for Best Podcast – News & Politics. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. This prestigious recognition marks #SistersInLaw as the best political podcast in the world, as voted by fans. #SistersInlaw will be honored at the 28th Annual Webby Awards in New York City on May 13th hosted by comedian Amber Ruffin (“Late Night with Seth Meyers”) where The Webby Awards’ star-studded ceremony celebrates the best of the Internet.

#SistersInLaw’s roundtable-style podcast features conversations between legal powerhouses: former U.S. Attorneys Barb McQuade & Joyce Vance, The Boston Globe Opinion columnist Kimberly Atkins Stohr and Jill Wine-Banks, the only woman on the Watergate prosecution team. They take on the corrupt, share wisdom and bring their unique perspective on current matters of law, politics and culture.

The legal dream team of Joyce, Jill, Barb and Kimberly, who are also on-air expert contributors to MSNBC, hits the road in May on the #SistersInlaw Live tour that offers an exciting front-row seat to the lively debates and razor-sharp commentary that captivates weekly podcast listeners. In this election year, the tour is particularly timely to help make sense of the most pressing issues of our time – like Donald Trump’s legal battles, abortion access, immigration, Supreme Court rulings and beyond. Tickets for the #SistersInLaw Live run of Chicago, Detroit and Boston tour stops are available HERE.

#SistersInLaw launched in February 2021, debuting at No. 1 on the Apple Podcast Politics chart and has remained in the Top 10. “#SistersInLaw has set the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Nick Borenstein, General Manager of The Webby Awards. “This award is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.”
