" I'VE GOTTEN TO DO SOME PRETTY COOL SHIT IN MY LIFE, BUT POLITICON WAS THE COOLEST. "

James Carville

Politicon produces podcasts and live events.

Our current lineup of podcasts includes #SistersInLaw, Politics War Room with James Carville and Al Hunt, Green Room with Jen Rubin, iGen Politics. Previous podcasts include On The Move with Victor Shi, Booked Up with Jen Taub, The Mary Trump Show and How the Heck Are We Gonna Get Along.

#SistersInLaw embarked on a tour of their popular podcast in 2023.

Politicon began as a live event – the Unconventional Political Convention – with a full weekend of panels, debates, town halls, Expos, podcasts, Q&A’s, book signings, comedy and more. Politicon brought together some of the biggest names in politics and entertainment for an unorthodox and highly entertaining weekend of political discourse.

For four years, the convention was held in the Los Angeles area, then moved to Nashville in 2019.

In 2020, right before the world changed around us, Politicon launched the podcast “How the Heck Are We Gonna Get Along!”, based on one of the most popular panels at the convention, hosted by Clay Aiken.

Past participants of the live events include Kamala Harris, Chelsea Handler, James Carville, Ann Coulter, Gov. Sarah Palin, America Ferrera, Kathy Griffin, Rep. Ted Lieu, Trevor Noah, Tomi Lahren, Roy Wood Jr., Ben Shapiro, Dennis Rodman, Henry Winkler, Rosario Dawson, Michael Steele, Sen. Barbara Boxer, Jake Tapper, April Ryan, Newt Gingrich, Alyssa Milano, and Eddie Izzard. Past media outlets include CNN, MSNBC, Pod Save America, Politico, Breitbart, Huffington Post, The Young Turks, Vice News and The Washington Post, all engaging in lively, intelligent, direct, and often hilarious debate and conversation.
