Daud Scott is a student of Islamic Spirituality as has been taught and initiated at the hands of well-respected and known Shaykhs’ within Orders of Islamic spirituality and purification; notably through Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani. Daud was born in Peoria, Illinois and raised in San Diego, California. He reverted to the path of Islam at the young age of 17 years old during his senior year of high school in 1992. Daud has received his degree from Hampton University in the field of Sociology as well as a degree from the University of Natural Health in the field of Holistic Health and Nutrition. Daud has traveled the world extensively in the pursuit of knowledge and at the attempt of understanding the human condition. Daud is an avid public speaker for health, an accomplished writer and an advocate for the underserved in our communities. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and son. Daud is the owner of Natures First Path: Holistic Nutrition, a holistic wellness practice aimed at providing nutritional healing, mindfulness therapy and naturopathic consulting to people from all walks of life.
