Friends of Intelligent Democracy is a political action committee that advocates for younger generations of

voters, encourages young people to become politically involved and is a political action committee by young people for all people.

Friends of Intelligent Democracy’s mission is to seek out candidates that are pro-fact and pro-science that will use their time in office to advocate for legislation that sets ideology aside for the sake of progress. Executive Director Charlie Panfil started Friends of Intelligent Democracy in 2017 during his senior year of high school in response to a disenchanting experience at a fundraising dinner where he was almost kicked out because of his age and demographic. For the 2018 midterm elections, Friends of Intelligent Democracy is endorsing candidates in everycompetitive congressional election, which will be compiled in our 2018 Candidate Catalog featuring over 450 candidates.
